Lent is a season of reflection, honesty, and renewal. In a world filled with uncertainty, noise, and strong opinions, it can be easy for our hearts to become weary, guarded, or overwhelmed. This year, we invite you into a different kind of Lenten journey — one that moves inward before outward.
“Take Heart: God at Work Within Us” is a six-week exploration of how God gently reshapes the human heart. Rather than focusing on self-improvement or outward performance, this season centers on God’s grace — the God who forgives, restores, and transforms from the inside out.
Each week, we will reflect on a different posture of the heart:
A Forgiven Heart – receiving God’s mercy and beginning again
A Listening Heart – slowing down to hear God’s voice
A Courageous Heart – finding steadiness in uncertain times
A Discerning Heart – examining what truly shapes our lives
A Curious Heart – rediscovering wonder and openness to God and one another
A Forgiving Heart – extending the grace we have received
Throughout Lent, we will acknowledge the fear, grief, and fatigue many carry — without being defined by them. We will remember that we are not broken beyond repair. We are not alone in our uncertainty. We can take heart because God is already at work within us.
On Easter Sunday, we will celebrate the transformation of the heart through the risen Christ — moving from personal recognition to shared joy and hope at the table.
Whether you are deeply rooted in faith, full of questions, or simply seeking steadiness in challenging times, you are welcome on this journey.
Come take heart.
